Online appointment requests and patient files
We are now working with Vello software which is bringing so many new features to our business. Through Vello, you are able to create a patient portal, similar to that of a Mychart but for your pet. Once created, you will be able to see all information we have on file for your pet regarding their name, species, age, breed, and gender. You can customize your page with pictures and further personalized information. You'll be able to access their vaccine history and due dates. Currently the system also allows for online appointment requests. In the future, we are told that they'll be providing ways to request prescriptions and submit non-emergent questions.
Vello works by coordinating your contact information with what we have on file in our computer system at the clinic. As you set up your account, it will request name and phone number. Currently, the system requires the phone number to match what we have on file. Thus, if you attempt to set up your Vello account and at first don't succeed, try entering a different phone number from your household as that may be what we have on file in clinic. Feel free to call anytime also for help in setting up a Vello account.
Regardless of whether you create a pet portal account, Vello works with our clinic software to generate automatic reminders for vaccine due dates and upcoming appointments. So don't be surprised to get automatic messages from our text about your pet in the future.
Click below to request an appointment online. While we are testing the system, we have limited online appointment requests to certain hours on certain days. We've also limited it to vaccine and routine appointments only. If you would like an appointment outside of the times listed, or if you have a pet with a medical issue, please call the clinic to schedule an appointment.
